then, after copying them, let's align one by one using its center to a particular vertex of the shoe and let's move it using local axis coordinates.

 
   
 

After using an edit mesh modifier ,i've selected those two patches using IDs. Then i applied another FFD box modifier to obtain a moved surface by shifting vertices.
